CORDOVA, TRUCHAS, LAS TRAMPAS

On the High Road to Taos we visit three of New Mexico’s most beautiful historic missions: San Antonio in Córdova, Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Rosario in Truchas, and the newly restored San José de Gracia in Las Trampas. We meet with the mayordomos (church caretakers) and see exceptional and recently conserved historic santero art.

This is Profundo’s original signature tour and is a unique opportunity to visit church interiors rarely seen by non-parishioners. Nearby is the Santuario de Chimayó, which is open to the public and can be visited before or after the tour on your own.
