About the event
In collaboration with the parish, the mayordomos, and parishioners, NUEVO MEXICO PROFUNDO has commissioned an altar from santero Nicolas Otero for the historic San Francisco de Asís church in Golden, New Mexico.
Please join us at 11:00 a.m., when Nick shows completed portions of his altar-in-progress, explains the procedures of its creation, and answers questions. Some of Nick's work is here; an article is here.
Restaurants in the area include the Blackbird Saloon in Cerrillos and the Mine Shaft Tavern in Madrid.
